Our heavenly father calls us, again, through his son, Jesus Christ.

As a child, when mom and or dad called us, we were taught to come.
Yes, we were taught to go to them, to find out why they called us to come to them.

Jesus is the son of Almighty God.
Jesus was born here on earth to teach
us the will of our heavenly, father,
Almighty God.
God, our father, calls us through his son, Jesus.
"Come unto me..."
(St. Matthew 11:28)  "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

We should go to him.
Jesus tells us to learn of him.
(St. Matthew 11:29)   "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto 
your souls."

Jesus tells us how to learn of him.
Jesus tells us to 
"Take my yoke upon you and learn of me..."
A yoke...

A yoke is placed on an animal to restrain the animal.
 A yoke is used to guide/steer an
animal.

Jesus' yoke is the words he has spoken to us.  
The words he has confirmed to us.

He tells us to ,  "take my yoke upon you, and learn of me..."

These are instructions from Jesus for each of us.  The word of God will steer us.  The word
of God will keep us doing right things in this
life.  The Word of God will lead us to
everlasting life.

Jesus tells us something of himself as he
calls us to come learn of him.
Jesus tells us up front:
"I am meek and lowly in heart..."
Jesus is calling; he is saying
Come unto me and learn of me.
Go to Jesus. See...
